It’s time for one of GALT’s “fan favorite” events – “Cooking for the Hounds” at The Mercury! This popular event will be held at The Mercury, 11909 Preston Road #1418 (northwest quadrant of Preston and Forest), Dallas, on Saturday, August 16th – from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.

For the ninth consecutive year, The Mercury’s famed Executive Chef, Chris Ward, is opening his kitchen for a cooking demonstration and sampling of some of his favorite dishes. The ever-changing menu at Chef Ward’s award-winning restaurant in North Dallas features scrumptious new American cuisine with strong French and Mediterranean influences.

The outstanding menu:

Fried Risotto with crisped sweetbreads and truffle sauce

Warm ricotta and Texas tomato salad

Braised short rib with celery root purée

Chocolate icebox pie

Madeleines and Palmiers

· One drink ticket, with additional drinks available for purchase at the cash bar

SOLD OUT!!! For those who want ring-side seats at the cooking bar and counter, we are again offering a limited number of VIP tickets (only seven) for the special price of $100. In addition to the above benefits and premium seating, the VIP tickets also include a special gift from GALT.
