"Voiles de Lumiére" or "Veils of Light," created by French artist and long time Hermès designer, Joachim Metz. The design was issued by Hermès as a part of its 1995 Year of "On the Road Again" themed Spring/Summer Collection. The design is a homage to 16th-17th century maritime "silk road" trade that brought from the Orient the exotic goods, including precious silks, that had become so highly prized in Europe. This design has never been reissued.
The colorway is black, gold, and white with sky blue, royal blue, mint greens and crimson accents.
