Details
  • "L'Effet Domino" or "The Domino Effect" created for Hermès by French graphic designer and illustrator, Pierre-Marie Agin, who started his artistic association with Hermès in 2008, and, as one of the youngest active designers of Hermès, has created created 18 'carrés' to date. This now rare and very popular design was issued by Hermès as part of its 2013 "A Sporting Life" themed spring/summer collection. It was issued only in the 70cm petit size on Hermès' special vintage silk.

The amazing colorway is comprised of a deep navy blue border and teal border surrounding a red orange background with design details rendered in blue klein, carnelian red, pink and silver accents.

This vintage scarf is in 10, unworn, mint condition (see our condition scale for reference). Purchased new on a business trip to Japan. There are no stains, spots, discolorations, holes, thread snags or thread runs. Hems are perfect and plump. The fabric/care label is attached. The silk is clean, thick and boutique fresh with a smooth hand. The colors are vibrant. The scarf measures 26.5" x 26.5" (67.3cm x 67.3cm).

This carre̒ is an extraordinary Hermès to own to wear or collect. Comes in its original Hermès gift box with ribbon.
