Les Chats" or "The Cats," is a rare, very beloved and highly collectible design by Hermès artist, Daphene Duchesne. A Siamese, a tabby, a black angora, and a white, a silver and a brown shorthair together make a stunning feline fashion statement. The design was issued as part of the Hermès 1985 spring/summer collection, and so was popular, it was reissued for the 1987 spring/summer collection.
The colorway is comprised of a black, cranberry and crimson border surrounding a white background on which are posed "les chats" rendered in black, white, grey and browns.
